Welcome to our self catering cottage in Cornwall
A delightful light and airy old stone architect designed conversion of the former stables to the farm. Stable Cottage sits tucked away up a lane in an elevated village position only two miles south of Padstow home to Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant and cookery school. The cottage is within easy reach of eight fantastic beaches which are Hawker's Cove, Porthothan, Constantine Bay, Harlyn Bay, Trevone, Treyarnon Bay, Trevose Head, and Booby's Bay which is very popular with surfers. Guests have often commented on how peaceful their stay has been and return home relaxed and refreshed often booking up for the following year.The cottage offers accommodation for up to four people and welcomes babies, young children and well behaved dogs.
Our Cornwall Accommodation
The double bedroom has a very comfortable bed and bespoke thick padded headboard, French armoire and flatscreen HD tv with built in Freeview and dvd slot. The twin bedroom has two good sized single beds and two bespoke thick padded headboards. Aswell as the cottage bathroom offering a bath and shower both bedrooms have a washbasin too.Reclaimed wooden floors throughout , white walls, original beams in the sitting room/kitchen, old wooden shutters, and crisp white walls amount to an 'old meets new' style. There is a woodburner in the sitting room for cosy evenings . Comfortable beds and warm duvets ensure a good nights sleep.The cottage is well equipped and offers Wi-Fi aswell as a large wall mounted Samsung flatscreen tv with FreeSat box and dvd player and i Pod dock. There is a selection of dvds for grown ups and children for guests to enjoy during their stay. Local leaflets to attractions are on site. The cottage has a secure patio style garden with teak furniture and a Weber barbecue. Parking on the premises. A highchair, travel cot, changing mat, potty , baby bath and anti slip mat ,basin step , booster seat etc can be provided on request at no extra charge . Breakfast and dinners may be ordered in advance from the farmhouse where meals are cooked on the Aga .

Situated in a quiet elevated village position only three miles from Padstow and Rick Stein's restaurants,the property sits next to our two acre field.
The Eden Project is within easy reach. North Cornwall offers numerous activities all of which are on the doorstep, sailing, surfing, golf, cycling on the Camel Trail, horseriding, shooting, the Maritime Museum, and a wealth of history in our historic houses and fascinating gardens to visit. There are many wonderful beaches nearby , you may even catch the seals at play.
Cornwall benefits from mild winters and spring comes early too.Most of the attractions are open twelve months of the year and it is worth considering an 'out of season break
