Idealy situated in the heart of the English Lake District just minutes from Ambleside yet in beautiful rural surroundings giving our guests a true 'getting away from it all' feeling.Our bed and breakfast accommodation offers 3 spacious en-suite rooms with spectacular views whilst the self-catering offers 4 individual apartments for those wanting a 'home from home' holiday. We have large landscaped gardens for all to enjoy and ample private parking, we are also totaly non-smoking
The guest house has three beautifully appointed bedrooms all with period furnishings, en-suite bathrooms, colout tv, hairdryers, tea/coffee facilities and sitting area with armchairs or settee
The Four Poster Room is a double aspected room enjoying spectacular views over the stepping stones to the front and gardens and fells beyond to the side.
At Stepping Stones we have four cottage style self catering holiday apartments, the Wordsworth, the Quillian, the Coleridge and the De-Quincey. Each has a double bedroom and sleeps 2 except the De-Quincey which has a double and twin room and sleeps 4. Bookings for one well behaved dog can be made by arrangement in Wordsworth and Coleridge.
