The perfect location, Strafford House is situated opposite Aldeburghs beach and just a minutes walk from the town, making the ideal choice for a traditional seaside holiday, family celebration or get together with friends. An imposing Grade II listed building with a modern, spacious interior.
Our Suffolk Accommodation
As you enter Strafford House you will find on the ground floor; Dining hall which seats 14 with large bay window and double doors leading to the newly fitted kitchen and morning room with SKY TV, range cooker and table and chairs. Sitting room with bay window & window seating, comfortable sofas, SKY TV + DVD/video player and feature fireplace. Ground floor shower room, separate utility room. On the first floor; spacious drawing room with door out onto the balcony overlooking the sea, SKY TV + DVD/video player and single sofa bed. Twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom and bay window overlooking the sea. A further twin bedroom, double bedroom and a family bathroom with bath, overhead shower, WC and hand basin. Second floor; Luxury bedroom suite with king size bed, en-suite bathroom, seating area + sofa bed, two SKY TV's + DVD/video and two large bay windows with superb sea views. Two twin bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom, one with en-suite shower room. Outside: small front gardens to either side of entrance with tables and chairs. Direct access to the beach which is only 10 yards away, parking for two cars outside the property with further car parking close by.
Our Suffolk Location
Our house is located opposite Aldeburgh's unspoilt beach and behind the charming High Street which has changed little from Victorian times, although now boasting a range of exclusive shops, high quality restaurants, art galleries and even an award winning fish and chip shop. With a sailing club, golf course and tennis courts to meet the needs of the more active you will also find specialist wine shops, museum and independent cinema for those looking for a more relaxing stay.
