Welcome to Stretton Lakes Holiday Lodges. Our self catering lodges are located in 120 acres of farmland in the county of Rutland. We have 3 Four Star GOLD luxury log cabins for up to 6 people each lodge has its own private heated outdoor six seater hot tub spa. We have one five star GOLD lodge sleeping two guests, this lodge has a hot tub and a sauna.
Free Coarse Fishing
There are four fishing lakes on the site, stocked with Mirror, Common and Ghost Carp, Roach, Rudd, Tench and Bream. Our fishing lakes are open all year round, and occupants of the holiday lodges can fish for free.
The fishing lakes have been created over the past 40 years to create an idyllic setting surrounded by woodland and open farmland. The lakes support a huge range of flora and fauna, watch carp cruising around islands, mallards flying into roost at dusk and if you're lucky deer grazing around the lodges.
Our Self Catering Lodges
Our lodges are the only genuine round log cabins in Rutland built in April 2008, sourced from sustainable forests, these lodges have been awarded 4 and 5 star gold and are finished to the highest standards. Our aim is to provide you with the feeling of ultimate relaxation.
The luxurious round log self catering holiday lodges are set surrounded by woodland overlooking our fishing lakes. Our lodges are finished to an exceptionally high standard with quality modern fittings and décor throughout. These unique bespoke lodges give a real alpine feel, with log effect burner glowing in the corner during the winter months, perfect for a romantic break or longer holiday whatever the time of year.
All our lodges have a double room with en suite and a twin room with a separate bathroom. All bed linen, towels and bathrobes are provided. Please let us know at time of booking if you require a high chair or travel cot. (Bedding not included). A complimentary welcome pack awaits your arrival.
Each lodge has its own veranda leading to your heated hot tub. For al fresco dining, wooden furniture and BBQ is included.
We regret that we unable to allow pets on the site.
Rutland and the Surrounding Location
Stretton lakes holiday lodges provide the ideal place to escape relax and explore. We are set in an ideal location near Oakham, in Rutland. As well as the many things to do and places to see in Rutland itself, the lodges are close to many other interesting towns and villages, including Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire, Stamford and Grantham in Lincolnshire, and Peterborough in Cambridgeshire.
Rutland Caravan Club certified Location
At Stretton lakes we have a caravan club certified location site. This allows us to have up to 5 caravans. The caravan site can only be used by caravan club members. It is an adults only CL.
