Welcome to our Yorkshire holiday cottage near Scarborough
Welcome to Swan Cottage, our self catering cottage in Filey, North Yorkshire. The cottage provides excellent self catering holiday accommodation for 4 people and Swan Cottage is situated in a peaceful coastal location in Yorkshire overlooking Filey Dams bird reserve yet only 10 minutes away from the shops/town centre and a 15 minutes walk to the beautiful sandy beach at Filey.
Our Yorkshire Cottage Accommodation
Our holiday cottage is a very well equipped bungalow sleeping 4 persons in 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin). The fully fitted kitchen has a gas cooker, washing machine, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave and toaster. The bathroom has a modern suite comprising of bath with mains shower fitting, pedestal hand wash basin, low suite W.C.
There is a sun lounge conservatory at the rear of the property which offers superb views across the landscaped enclosed rear garden and bird reserve. The cottage has full double glazing and gas central heating. Car parking is available on the bungalow drive.
Bed linen and towels can be hired at a cost of £5 per person. We regret that no pets are allowed at our Yorkshire cottage.
Our Yorkshire Coast Location near Scarborough
The bungalow is set in a peaceful location in Filey, on the coast of North Yorkshire. Filey offers a wide range of shops, restaurants, cafes, banks etc. and is within easy travelling distance of Scarborough, Bridlington, Whitby, the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and Yorkshire Wolds. The bus and train stations are only 10 minutes walk from Swan Cottage
A promenade follows the beach along to the cobble landing and out onto Filey Brigg - an area popular with adults for sea fishing and bird watching and exploring rock pools for the younger generation.
Filey Bay offers a 5 mile stretch of sandy beach between Filey Brigg in the north and Flamborough Head in the south.
