Tewit Cottage is one of 2 holiday cottages that form the Windhill Laithe Cottages. This 4 Star Gold luxury self catering cottage is situated in the heart of the Ribble Valley in a delightful rural setting. This barn conversion is an ideal retreat for those seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. It has been tastefully converted to provide comfort and modern facilities but retaining the charm of the era. The cottage dates back to 1895 and now provides luxury self catering holiday accommodation for 5 people.
Our Luxury Holiday Cottage Facilities
Tewit cottage features an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area with flagged floors and rugs. The first floor holds 3 bedrooms - 1 double with feature brass bed, 1 twin, 1 single, all with polished oak floors. It sleeps up to five people and we regret that no pets are allowed.
The bathroom has a shower, toilet and wash hand basin. There is also underfloor heating in downstairs areas, and a log burning stove for cosy nights in There is ample parking for 2 cars.
Outside there is a large patio area with furniture and fields suitable for ball games making this a wonderful family friendly holiday cottage.
Our Cottage Location in Lancashire
The cottage has spectacular views of Pendle Hill and Pen-y-Gent and is a superb location for walking, bird watching or simply relaxing in the beautiful surroundings.
The cottage is close to Clitheroe, in Lancashire, and Skipton is also close at hand. The Lake District, York and the Yorkshire Dales, Blackpool and Manchester are all within easy reach by car.
