Welcome to The Croft, our self-catering accommodation location in the quiet crofting of Melvaig, near Gairloch in the Highlands. This excellent ground floor self-catering accommodation sleeps 4 people, and is situated about 200 yards from the shore.
Our Highlands Self Catering Accommodation
The Croft provides self-catering accommodation for 4 people. This traditional style semi-detached house is ground floor accommodation throughout, has double glazing throughout and is heated by storage heaters. The living area comprises a well fitted lounge with stone fireplace, a modern fully equipped kitchen overlooking the sea and an adjacent dining area with patio windows looking out onto the islands. There are 2 traditionally furnished bedrooms one has a double bed and the other bunk beds, and the bathroom has a bath with electric shower over it.
Sheets, pillowcases, bath and hand towels, and tea towels can be provided at an extra charge. There is a parking space for 1 car inside the grounds and well behaved dogs are accepted.

Our cottage is located in the quiet crofting community of Melvaig, near Gairloch in the Highlands. Situated about 200 yards from the shore, the house overlooks the sea and has great views of Skye, Harris and Lewis. The Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve and The Torridon mountains are also just a short distance away.
The area's attractions include whale-watching and marine-life trips, including visits to the puffin colonies on the Shiant islands, salmon, trout and sea-fishing, golf course and pony trekking. Also, boat trips on Loch Maree to view Viking graves, bike hire, deer museum, guided hill walks and Inverewe Gardens, to name but a few.
