Welcome to our Self catering cottage in South Herefordshire
The Burnett Farmhouse is a former farm, set in the beautiful rolling countryside of South Herefordshire, with far reaching views over the quiet valley of Orcop towards Garway Hill. In tranquil farmland away from the main roads, these renovated barn and farm buildings provide an ideal base for exploring areas of outstanding natural beauty including the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Brecon Beacons and the Malvern Hills.
The cottages are within 20 minutes drive of Hereford, Ross-on-Wye and the M50 motorway. Also within easy reach are Hay-on-Wye, Monmouth, Symonds Yat, Malvern, Abergavenny, Cheltenham, Cardiff, Chepstow, The Brecon Beacons, Wales and Worcester with numerous places to visit including the castles of The Marches, Offa's Dyke path, Tintern Abbey, The Wye Valley, the Black and White villages, gardens to explore, antique shops and many more places of interest.
Accommodation - The Granary
Our Cottage is furnished to a high standard. The open plan living/dining area has lovely views across the valley and includes oak beams, and TV. The kitchenette area is fully equipped with full cooker, fridge, microwave and washer/drier.
The ground floor double bedroom has lovely views and a comfortably appointed with en-suite shower room.
On the first floor is a lovely twin bedroom with feature slit window this room has a TV and also can accomodate a cot if required.
The bathroom upstairs has a bath with a shower attachment.
There is a fenced garden area set aside exclusively for the use of our guests, with patio, equipped with barbecue, tables and chairs - and of course the fantastic views.
Safe to let the children play - at weekends our own children (7 & 9), will be around and delight in showing new friends the garden.
The Barns and Farmhouse are 200 yards from the lane so give you a peaceful and secluded base for your holiday.
