Welcome to The Moorings, our holiday cottage overlooking the sea. Located in the Isle of Whithorn, Galloway on the Machars Peninsula of South West Scotland.
On the ground floor of this stone cottage which dates from the 18th century, there is an entrance hall, dining room with ornamental Victorian fireplace and child's high chair and well-equipped kitchen. On the ground floor there is also the main bedroom with queen-size bed and en-suite WC & hand basin; bathroom with shower over bath, WC and wash basin; second bedroom with twin beds. Both bedrooms have harbour views.
There is a telephone for all incoming and local outgoing calls. Ask us for the phone number upon booking.
On the Uppper floor there is a sitting room with Victorian fireplace and window seats giving magical harbour and sea views and a double bedroom, also with sea view.
There is a rear garden with table and benches and, for your car, there is on-street parking.
