Welcome to our Holiday Cottages in Cumbria

The Old Stables was a traditional farm building built in 1746 which has been newly converted, although it retains many of the original features.  It provides high quality self catering holiday accommodation for up to 6 people and enjoys a garden and ample parking

The self catering accommodation has 3 ground floor bedrooms – an ensuite twin and a twin and double with bathroom in between. The first floor has a large lounge/dining area with open fire and oak beams and furniture, as well as a fully equipped oak kitchen. There are also washing and drying facilities and the whole building has under floor central heating.

Fleshbeck Cottage is a pretty country cottage built in 1717 and offers wonderful views across the Lune Valley. It provides high quality self catering holiday accommodation for 4 people and enjoys a sizeable garden and ample parking.

The self catering accommodation includes a newly fitted kitchen and a traditionally furnished dining room. The comfortable lounge is also traditionally furnished with its cast iron range large and open fire. The property also has a double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom, and is heated by storage heaters, immersion heater and fire.

For Horses

We have a large network of bridal ways serving both sides of the valley. Because of this we can offer high quality riding holidays for people who want to bring their own horses. We have 12 new stables, an indoor school and plenty of grazing in several paddocks. Hay and straw can also be provided.

Holiday Cottage Location

The Lune Valley is between The Yorkshire Dales and The Lake District so is surrounded by many splendid footpaths, golf courses, cycle ways, bridal ways and fishing, and, as stabling, grazing and bike storage is also available, it is the perfect place to come and unwind.

Situated 3 miles north of Kirby Lonsdale it is handy enough to nip down for a pint or an evening meal in one of the many inns and restaurants in this pretty market town.

There are many local attractions including several castles and large houses open to the public to see both house and garden. There are local agricultural show and fairs to see throughout the summer. There is a tourist Information Office in Kirby Lonsdale.
