Welcome to The Old Station Yard Railway Carriages
Audrey, Cygnus and Ibis - romantically named after carriages on the Orient Express - nestle peacefully in the tranquillity of The Old Station Yard, where the use of local limestone boulders and granite chippings perfectly complement the flora and foliage in our beautifully maintained arena.
Each of our 3 reproduction carriages sleeps up to 4 people and offer a most unusual form of self catering accommodation!
Uniquely designed, each property consists of a lounge, kitchen and dining area, 2 bedrooms and a shower room.
Authentic brass light fittings and barrelled ceilings maintain the railway 'feel' while the central heating, double glazing and flat screen TV with cable and DVD provide you with cosy modern home comforts.
An air of opulence is created by the quality of the ridiculously expensive drapes, the tasteful brown+cream decor, the stylish brown leather corner suite and the oak four place dining suite with leather chairs.
You will be in self-catering heaven in the clean, fully fitted, fully equipped kitchen with modern combination oven and hob, family sized microwave and integrated fridge.
The double bedroom has a dressing table and mirror, a full length wall-mounted mirror, twin wardrobes, plenty of storage and a colour coordinated double bed as well as a 14” colour TV . The bunkroom is exactly that with cute twin bunks, a wardrobe & chest of drawers fully fitted in the same classic style as the double bedroom.
The bathroom consists of a corner shower enclosure with a power shower.
Location
Our accommodation is situated on, and once formed part of, the working Ludborough Railway Station near Louth in Lincolnshire.

One, two or all three of our carriages can be hired together with our Station Master's House to accommodate large groups or family gatherings of up to 20 people.
