The Orangery offers 4 star quality large group self-catering sleeps 18 in comfort for holidays and other gatherings. Situated on a magnificent and tranquil estate, you can relax in complete peace and quiet. We are situated in the heart of Norfolk, with easy access to the coast and mile upon mile of beautiful countryside, so you are never far from something to do or see. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Our Large Norfolk Self Catering Accommodation

Five en-suite double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms and a family bedroom make up the accommodation here at The Orangery. All of the bedrooms are very well decorated and large. The kitchen is large and well equipped, with all modern appliances and ample working and storage space. Dining is done in the main room, with seating for all of your party, either at one table, or at groups of tables, depending on your preference. The lounge is large and comfortable, with seating, a television, small CD player, and space for dancing and play-acting in the centre. The Orangery has seven en-suite bath or shower rooms. Outside we have the Gardens and Grounds, where you will find a BBQ, patio furniture and cycle storage if requested. The garden is very well kept and beautiful. Although our Holiday Home is Self Catering, we can arrange full meals and buffets on prior request. In our summary our accommodation includes:

·          Dining Room:  Dining in the main room with seating for all of your party either at one table, or at groups of tables - your choice

·          TV and Music Facilities: Large TV  a small CD player.

·          Heating:  Oil fired boier - faces south and stays both warm and sunny.

·          Bedrooms: Five en-suite double bedrooms two twins and a family room

·          Linen: We provide made up beds with bath towels too.

·          Bathrooms: The Orangery has seven en-suite bath or shower rooms.

·          Disabled Facilities:  Access and disabled loo, but no ground floor disabled bedroom. Our neighbouring properties do have the disabled bedrooms and full access.

·          Children's Facilities:  High chairs, cots available on request plus plenty of space

·          Outdoor Facilities:  Gardens and grounds, BBQs, patio furniture and cycle storage if requested

·          Swimming Pool:  No, but large new public pool ten minutes away in Dereham.

·          Parking:  Plenty

·          Smoking:  No

Our Luxury Self Catering Holiday Home’s Location in Norfolk

Situated on the grounds of a large estate, there are many idyllic walks and cycles around the Holiday Home. We are in the heart of Norfolk, the very centre of a county which has a relaxed quality of life, and unique natural, historic and cultural features. The cottages are not far from the wild and mysterious Brecks where ancient heathlands meet vast expanses of lowland forest; an ideal location for those interested in nature. The area has an abundance of nature reserves including the magical Foxley Wood that is believed to be 6,000 years old. Nearby, there is the North Norfolk coast. Norfolk’s beaches are amongst the most varied in England.  They are great places for family days out, for biking, sailing or relaxing, enjoying fine seafood, wonderful skies, and the sea air. Golf, riding, fishing and other sports are all available close by and in much variety.

·          Nearest Shop:  Bawdeswell. A comprehensive store open from 6.00am to 9.00 and sometimes 10.00pm

·          Nearest Airport:  Norwich airport is 20 minutes

·          Nearest Train Station:  Norwich Station is 35 minutes average
