Welcome to our Windermere B&B in the Lake District
The Ravensworth is a unique Lakeland guest house built in the 1850's, very close to Windermere village and just fifteen minutes walk to the lake and Bowness village.
The bed and breakfast was built orginally as a private residence, and the change to a guest house has retained many of the original features and has been enhanced by the addition of a conservatory dining room where breakfast is served between 8.30 and 9.30 am.
There is private parking at the front and rear of the guest house with storage available for bikes.
Our quality guest house has a variety of rooms, all maintained to a high standard and all en-suite, most with bath and shower. We provide the usual tea & coffee making facilities including cafetiers. In our superior rooms we provide bath robes and as well as a clock radio alarm these rooms have an ipod dock. Our four-poster rooms also have dvd players with a selection of films available free of charge. Free wireless internet is available in our residents lounge.
Our guest house is conveniently located on the edge of Windermere village, The Ravensworth is ideally situated , providing easy access to the many attractions of the Lake District National Park. The rates shown are per person and includes full English breakfast.
Please note that there is usually a minimum stay of two or three nights at weekends.
