Welcome to The Rockford Inn, our B&B in Exmoor
This traditional bed and breakfast offers simple and comfortable B&B accommodation right in the heart of Exmoor National park. It sports wonderful views of the dramatic East Lyn river, nestled in one of the most peaceful and secluded spots in Britain,and yet just a few miles from the beautiful North Devon coast. With breakfast, lunch and dinner all on our menu and an outdoor patio where you can eat or your kids can play, or simply watch the sun go down over a glass of wine, this guest house is perfect for a family holiday or a romantic getaway. Our B&B is ideal for fishing holidays - permits to fish for salmon & trout in the East lyn River are available from the bar.
Our Exmoor B&B Accommodation
Our country inn has 5 bedrooms, two of which are en suite. At the B&B we offer breakfast (obviously!), afternoon tea, evening meals, lunches and even a packed lunch if you are planning on using the day to explore the beautiful Exmoor area surrounding our country cottage.
We offer phone and wifi access as well as a guest lounge with fully licensed bar for winding down after a long day on Exmoor. We have a patio area where guests can have a BBQ, there is a television in every bedroom but with so much to do around our B&B we bet you’ll never use it!
Food is available in our bar and we serve local brewed ales poured direct from cask barrels behind the bar.
Unfortunately we do not allow pets to stay. However we can recommend local kennels who will be happy to look after your dog. Well behaved dogs are allowed in the bar area.
Our Country Inn location in Devon
Our traditional country Inn overlooks the dramatic East Lyn River deep in the heart of Exmoor National Park, near Lynton, in Devon, close to the beautiful North Devon Coast. There is plenty to do around our B&B, which is perfect for anglers as we offer fishing on the river by the B&B. Exmoor is of course perfect for walking and cycling, and horse riding and other equestrian activities are available nearby. For walkers, we are close to the South West Coastal Path, The Tarka Trail, and the Macmillan Way West.
