Our Fife Coast Location
Fife was described in medieval times as 'a beggar's mantle fringed with gold' and while this is no longer true (inland Fife has rich farmland and many sunrise industries), the fringe of gold glitters as bright as ever. The quaint coastal villages of the East Neuk form a unique chain of holiday and fishing locations, with their warm stone architecture featuring crow-step gables and red pantiles, steep cobbled streets and south-facing beaches.
The area boasts a wide variety of activities and interests all within easy driving distance. There is an extensive range of outdoor sports including abseiling and wind surfing, and being only ten minutes from St. Andrews, seat of Scotland's oldest University and the home of golf, you can see that 'The Spindrift' provides the ideal base from which to tour and enjoy the splendours of central and eastern Scotland.
