River Lodge Cottage (sleeps 5)
River lodge provides self-catering accommodation for up to 5 people. It is a quaint and historic cottage built in 1840, situated about 1 mile from Throwley Hall Farm, alongside the River Manifold.
The ground floor of the property has a fully equipped luxury kitchen, attractive dining area, well furnished lounge, shower and toilet. The first floor has two bedrooms, one double and one twin, and a bathroom. The property has central heating and outside there is an attractive spacious garden sloping down to the River Manifold
Throwley Cottage (Sleeps 7)
Throwley Cottage is an attractive self-catering property for up to 7 people, situated near to the beautiful Manifold Valley and Dovedale.
The property facilities include a well furnished lounge, fully equipped kitchen diner, shower and toilet room and upstairs bathroom. There are also three bedrooms which comprise of one double, one twin and one double with extra single bed.
Throwley Moor Farmhouse (Large Cottage Sleeps 12)
Throwley Moor Farmhouse is a large, attractive farmhouse for up to 12 people, situated about 1 mile from Throwley Hall Farm.
The property facilities include a well furnished lounge/games room, a large fully equipped kitchen diner, shower and toilet room downstairs and a large bathroom upstairs, as well as a separate shower room. There are also four bedrooms which comprise of one ensuite double, one double with extra single bed, one double with two extra single beds and one room with 4 single beds.
Latham Hall (Large - sleeps 12)
Latham Hall is a large, attractive former farmhouse for up to 12 people, situated near the village of Calton, not far from the A52 Leek - Ashbourne road.
The property facilities include a well furnished living room, a fully equipped kitchen diner, shower and toilet room downstairs and a bathroom upstairs. There are also four bedrooms which comprise of one ensuite double, one double with extra single bed and cot and two double with extra single bed.
Dogs are allowed at all the properties at an extra charge of £5 each, but as it is a sheep farming area they must be kept on leads at all times.
Our Location in the Peak District
Throwley Hall Farm is conveniently situated in the quiet countryside near to the beautiful Manifold Valley and Dovedale in the Peak District. Superb scenery and walking country are right on the doorstep, and attractions such as Alton Towers are a short journey away.
The farm stands on a spur overlooking the Manifold Valley. This is one of the most famous rivers of the Peak District and carves a spectacular deep valley with numerous rocky crags, a sight which is matched locally only by Dovedale - just a few miles away.
