Set amidst 2 acres in a secluded part of the island, with breathtaking views over the Sound of Sleat, Toravaig House Hotel is one of the island’s most exclusive and luxurious retreats. The tastefully furnished bedrooms provide every desirable amenity, and the exquisite cuisine, served in the elegant, traditionally decorated Iona restaurant, is created from fresh local produce and is accompanied by fine wines and malts.

Sailing trips around the Isle of Skye

As if all of that was not enough to tempt you, we also offer a unique sailing trip with your hosts Anne and Ken onboard their luxury yacht. Trips are available every day – weather permitting – and include lunch onboard. Each trip is different and there is the chance to sight whales, dolphins, seals and of course, our beautiful islands.

Our Luxury Highland Hotel Accommodation

Our Scottish Hotel offers 9 luxuriously appointed bedrooms.  The rooms are freshly presented with newly laundered, crisp white bedlinen on sleigh or brass beds, each room being individual and different with great attention to detail.  All rooms are naturally ensuite, with pressurised showers, and many also have baths.  All rooms have flat screen TVs and hospitality trays.  Luxurious Arran Aromatic toiletries are used in the bathrooms.

Our Award Winning Highland Hotel Restaurant

Our Highland hotel is gaining a fine reputation for its cuisine. The freshest of highlands and islands produce features on the daily changing menus. Highlights include an ingenious Trifle of Loch Eishort Crab, Tomato Gazpacho and Avocado Custard with Sweetcorn Sorbet, as well as West Highland Venison Chops, Clapshot and Venison Haggis with a Game Broth.  The Iona Restaurant is open for morning coffee, lunch, afternoon teas and dinner. Fresh local produce is used, and on the Isle of Skye we have some of the world’s best local produce on our doorstep.

Our Hotel is in a magnificent setting in Sleat, in the south west of the beautiful Isle of Skye, in the Highlands of Scotland. The location is handy for getting to and from the mainland via Mallaig.  The hotel is set in 2 acres of grounds in an elevated position with magnificent views, and breathtaking sunsets are often seen.   We are just 16 miles from the Skye Bridge and 5 minute drive from Armadale for the ferry from Mallaig.  The Isle of Skye is full of wonderful breathtaking scenery and is steeped in history and romance – a truly wonderful holiday destination.
