Welcome Tyddyn-du Farm Holiday Suites, offering 5 Star luxury bed and breakfast accommodation on a working organic Welsh sheep farm Near Porthmadog, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. We offer five star Bed & Breakfast served in the farmhouse, or each of our suites can be used on a self-catering basis or a breakfast basket in the suites basis,
Our emphasis is on fresh, superb quality, locally sourced ingredients for breakfasts, including our own free range eggs wherever possible, local bakery bread and your choice of breakfast.
All the bed and breakfast suites have their own individual gardens & patio windows which overlook the stunning Snowdonia National Park countryside or mountain scenery.
All the suites have a snacks preparation area (with dishes etc) complimentary welcome cake & chocolates on arrival and fresh milk left in the fridge daily .
The guest house is located in Blaenau Ffestiniog, near Portmadog, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park in Wales. There are numerous local attractions and things to do, and our B&B provides an excellent base for exploring the Snowdonia National Park and its central location also makes it ideal for the whole of Wales. Local attractions include:
· Portmeirion Italianate village (10 minutes away - 6 miles)
· Ffestiniog Railway (10 mins - 6 miles)
· Slate mines (10 mins)
· Bala white water rafting is only 15 minutes away
· Betws y Coed is only 25 minutes away
· Beddgelert is only 20 minutes
Coed y Brenin hiking & biking mountain centre (15 minutes away - 8 miles)
The guest house provides the ideal accommodation for Coed-y-Brenin Forest biking centre which which has numerous walks & mountain and cycling biking trails to suit all ages .
In addition our working organic farm provides many of its own attractions, including Yogi Bear, Merlin, Blondie, Cuddles & baby Syndod are miniature shetland ponies, they enjoy being made a fuss of , and everybody is welcome to join in with feeding the animals at 9.30 every morning . You can also feed the shetland ponies & groom them if you are experienced with horses, and they like to go for a walk (with adult supervision). The sheep & lambs can be fed, chickens & duck eggs collected for breakfast and we have 3 lovely friendly collie sheepdogs who love attention ...
