Welcome to our Luxury Self Catering Holiday Cottage in the wonderful region of Cornwall. Woodmill Farm is ideally situated for exploring Cornwall as we are situated within a short distance of its famed gardens, glorious beaches and historic ports. Our one-bedroom cottages have been recently converted from a 17th century Flour Mill, and now provide cosy, quality, well-equipped accommodation for anything from a short break to several weeks’ holiday, and a perfect retreat at any time of year. Our Holiday Cottage is set within 7 acres of meadow, on the edge of the Picturesque Prideaux Woods near to the South Cornish Coast.
Welcome to our holiday cottages in Cornwall where you can see our ETC 4 Star self-catering holiday cottages, which are located in an area of historic interest and beauty in Cornwall. Woodmill Farm a 17th Century Former Mill is set within 7 acres of meadow, on the edge of the Picturesque Prideaux Woods near to the South Cornish Coast, and is an ideal base from which to explore Cornwall. The former Cornish Mill has been converted into 4 stunning self-contained one bedroomed cottages. We also offer a cottage all on one level.
Our holiday cottages provide cosy, quality, well-equipped accommodation for anything from a short break to several weeks’ holiday, and a perfect retreat at any time of year.
Our Self Catering Holiday Cottage’s Accommodation and Features
Each of our four holiday cottages is completely self-contained, and has one double bedroom with en suite bathroom. Inside the front door you will find a large airy kitchen/dining room, with all modern appliances and a large farmhouse table. A staircase winds up to the inviting open plan lounge with a Juliette balcony overlooking the meadow, then up to the top floor, which contains the master bedroom en-suite. The exposed beams and traditional wooden flooring gives a cosy warm feel to the cottage, and several comfortable soft sofas and tasteful décor make this a real “home from home”. We also have a separate single storey cottage available, which has one double bedroom (or twin if requested), a large airy open plan kitchen/ living room/ dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances, and has a back door onto the patio area. The living/dining room has ample seating, a lovely wooden dining table, digital television, DVD player, and a set of French doors that lead to the Juliette balcony outside. The bedroom has a huge double bed, large wardrobes, a desk and chair, and various other pieces of furniture, and is light and airy, with excellent decoration and lovely exposed wood beams on the ceiling. Washing and Drying facilities are located centrally for the use of all five holiday cottages, as is the off street parking.

Our Holiday Cottages’ Location in Cornwall, South of England
Set on the edge of a village and surrounded by protected Woodland, the holiday cottages lie within easy reach of many beautiful sandy beaches, magnificent coastal/woodland walks, just 1 mile to the acclaimed Eden Project and only 5 miles from Lost Gardens of Heligan. The Saints Way has convenient road access to all parts of Cornwall. Woodmill is conveniently placed and central to many exciting and interesting places in Cornwall. Just 3 miles from the Historic Georgian Port of Charlestown, where you can visit the tall ships or have a tasty treat. Fowey is also close by for those who have yachting interests or purely to visit the winding streets of a typical Cornish town. Not far away is Mevagissey a fishing port, with its fascinating harbour, shops and restaurants.
Woodmill Farm is ideally situated for exploring Cornwall. Within striking distance are its famed gardens including The Eden Project, which is only 1 mile, which if you walk entitles you to a £3.00 entry price reduction. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, which is on the road to picturesque Mevagissey. There are glorious beaches and historic ports. Excellent local restaurants, particularly in Fowey, only 10 minutes away, bolster Cornwall’s growing reputation for good food. If you enjoy walking, look no further than the nearby Luxulyan Valley, a notable local beauty spot, or perhaps try one of our many Coastal walks or The infamous Saints Way. You can then return to Woodmill Farm and enjoy the tranquillity of Cornwall.
