Welcome to our home and to A Rover's Rest Bed & Breakfast. A Romantic Hideaway at Shuswap Lake. Tourism BC inspected and approved. Located halfway between Calgary, Alberta & Vancouver, bc, only 2 km off the Trans-Canada Highway.
Each of our three suites are decorated with it’s own theme and unique features; all with private entry, ensuite washroom, shower, hairdryer, robes & slippers, room fan, thermostat control, high speed wireless Internet. There are various amenities in each suite and throughout the property, awarding us a Canada Select 4-Star Bed & Breakfast rating.
The Heart of the Home suite is named for the red heart shaped jetted tub. The king bed, jetted tub, love seat, fireplace, and private dining area make it great for those moments when you want to share romantic time with your partner. This suite also has deck access that can be used to sneak out to the outdoor hot tub for private time.
The To the Point room is dedicated to David’s Grandmother and Mother. Many hours of their handiwork have gone into making up the décor. Although the smallest suite offered, it makes up for it with a semi-private garden area for your enjoyment. You always feel free to come and go as you like.
The From the Brush suite is decorated with china and paintings mostly painted by Kimberly’s Grandmother. The double and twin bed make traveling with a friend perfect. This suite also contains a small couch and chair. An extra twin bed may be added to accommodate up to four guests.
The outdoor hot tub is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine from one of our local wineries. Relax on the swing located on the large deck there you will fond a bbq and other seating to share a moment with friends; old & new.
The Snack & Beverage Centre is where you will find snacks, hot and cold drinks.
The Sunroom is where you will be served our award-winning full hot breakfast, different each day.
