Situated off a quiet Devon lane and surrounded by lawns and flowerbeds, Abscott was purpose built in 2006 and furnished as a luxury holiday cottage to offer a charming home for a memorable holidays for families or friends. The cottage is a delight for guests in any season. During spring, summer and early autumn the south-facing patio areas offer sunbathing or dining at twilight (a large bbq being available between Easter and the end of September). In autumn and winter, gather family and friends around the large pine dining table with its church pew seating for formal feasts and then to relax around the cosy wood burning stove on comfortable sofas.

Abscott Cottage offers traditional countryside beauty without and contemporary chic within. All three are bedrooms on the ground floor, allow the living areas upstairs to enjoy views across North Devon fields and hedgerows.

There are three generously-sized double bedrooms, each with its an en-suite bathroom, plus a separate guest WC on the ground floor. The impressive master bedroom has a double height vaulted ceiling, and French windows that open onto a sun-filled patio. Its en-suite bathroom gives you a choice of an invigorating double head shower, or relaxing in a classic roll top bath. The master bedroom has a zip and link king-sized bed which can be separated to form twin beds if requested in advance.

Bedroom two also has a double bed which can be separated to form two singles, French doors to its own patio and an en suite with luxury shower.  The third bedroom has a double bed and large en suite bathroom with inset Bette bath and views of the Devon countryside through its floor to ceiling glazed doors.

Come upstairs to discover a large set of 3 inter-connecting open plan reception rooms with stripped pine floors, beamed ceilings and floor to ceiling windows that welcome in the sunlight and offer splendid rural views. The living area incorporates a fully-equipped kitchen/breakfast space, a formal dining area with church pew style seating and a lounge space with big squashy sofas, woodburner, tv and iPod docking station.
