Welcome to Achachleat, situated in Elgol on the Isle of Skye (The "Winged Isle").
Nestling on a ridge above the sea the property has stunning panoramas of the Black Cuillin mountains, the small Isles of Soay and Canna and beyond to open Atlantic, and a broad horizon of over 40 miles of mainland mountains. From sunrise to sunset the views are quite outstanding.
The property has up to 4 bedrooms and can provide very flexible accommodation from small parties up to as many as 12 people.

| The house is very spacious, and can accommodate up to 12 people. Achachleat was recently refurbished and has a full central heating system installed, and the house is fully double glazed. It also has an open fire in the main downstairs living room. So even in the coldest and wildest conditions the Atlantic can throw at us in the proximity of the Cuillin mountains, the house is always warm and cosy.
All beds have incredibly comfortable Tempur 'memory' Mattresses. When we equipped the house we felt that this would be especially appreciated by the more active guests after a long day walking or climbing in the mountains.
Downstairs:
- Bedroom 1: 2 single beds, with wash hand basin
- Bedroom 2: Double bed, with single bunk overhead
- Bedroom 3: 2 double bed bunks (sleeps 4, with wash hand basin)
- House bathroom and toilet
- Very large living dining room with 2 dining tables able to seat up to 12. The living room area has an open fire (coal/peat/logs).
- Large kitchen, with kitchen table able to seat 4/5. Kitchen has gas hob and electric fan oven. There is a dishwasher.
- Utility Room: with washing machine and tumble drier.
- Shower room and toilet accessible from the utility room.
Upstairs:
- Bedroom 4: This is a very spacious bedroom with three single beds. It also has a well appointed ensuite shower room and toilet.
- On special request: Living/Bedroom: This is a very spacious room which can either be used as a second living room,and/or convert to a very large bedroom with two easy-to-operate and comfortable double bed settees. Ideal for larger parties. This room also has its own en suite shower room and toilet.
