Welcome to Alva Guesthouse B&B in beautiful Dumfries and Galloway

Our modernised and very comfortable former farmhouse is waiting for you to stay and explore the Colvend Coast and beyond ! Our bed and breakfast is near to all the facilities of Dalbeattie and Dumfries.

You can be assured of a warm welcome, which we give to all our guests.

The little dog symbol in the Property Information box above means we are PET friendly too !! This means we welcome well-behaved, clean pets.

There are many excellent forest and coastal paths, villages, gardens, golfing, cycling, birdwatching, fishing and mountain biking. Sandy beaches, esp. at Sandyhills, are nearby.

Deals for spring and autumn breaks are available. See our recession-busting prices and on top of that, our discount for 3 or more nights !!!
