The first floor of this vacation rental has a larger two bedroom apartment and the ground floor another 42m2 one bedroom apartment again for 4 people with direct access to the large, shady, enclosed garden with its fruit trees and paved area for barbecues. All bedrooms have air-con and 2 single beds. There are sofa beds for a further 2 people in the living rooms of the one bedroom apartments. These are cooled by ceiling fans. Each apartment has a well equipped kitchen area within the open plan living and the bathroom has a full sized bath with shower over. Admire the view over the surrounding olive groves whilst you sit on the balconies with a relaxing drink or first thing over a lazy breakfast.
In the centre of Amaliapolis you will find a choice of cafes/bars and tavernas, with excellent fish, several of which stay open all year, all within walking distance of this vacation rental. The village also has two bakeries selling delicious freshly baked bread for breakfast and two general stores. The sandy beach is also within walking distance of the apartments and is sandy and gently sloping - making it very suitable for young children. There is also a children’s playground, 5-a-side football pitch and volleyball court next to the beach. In high season there are 2 lively beach bars. In summer Amaliapolis is popular with holidaying Greek families. You can experience the 'real' Greece here largely untouched by ‘packaged’ tourism.
In this undiscovered part of Thessaly there are several good beaches within a 30 minute drive and you can also take a boat trip to the island of Skiathos with its famous sandy beaches.
