Only 45 minutes drive from Malaga airport (there is a good bus service if you do not wish to hire a car, or we can arrange transport from/to the airport), 10 minutes to the bustling coastal town of Torre del Mar, and 30 minutes to the beautiful old towns of Nerja and Frigiliana. Ideal location for exploring the stunning Axarquia region of Andalucia.
Living room – sofa, arm chair, dining table and chairs, tv and dvd player. WI-FI internet access available at minimal extra charge.
Kitchen – open plan into living room, with full size oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster.
Bedroom – double bed, large wardrobe, dressing table, bedside tables.
Shower Room – fully tiled with large shower cubicle, wc and wash basin.
Outside - utility patio with washing machine and sink. Large roof terrace with sun loungers, table and chairs, barbecue.
Cleaning – the house is cleaned prior to your arrival. Fresh bed linen, bath towels, hand towels and tea towels are provided, but please kindly bring your own beach towels.
The coastal town of Torre del Mar is 10 minutes drive away and has a large market on Thursdays and a hypermarket. As well as the long sandy beach, there are many bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and it is possible to have a Menu del Dia (3 course lunch with drink) for as little as €8.00.
Other nearby attractions include Aquavelis water park, go-karting, various street markets, quad biking.
Granada and the Alhambra Palace are about 1.5 hours drive away. Other places of interest are the caves of Nerja, the old town of Malaga with its Cathedral, Lake Vinuela and Comares, the highest village in Andalucia.
Benamocarra´s two main fiestas take place mid May and mid October. These are great fun with live music and flamenco dancing, numerous bars and food stalls around the town, and a party atmosphere which lasts into the early hours.
