The cathedral ceiling of the living area gives it a huge feeling of space and the feature woodwork adds interest and detail. Two of the original stall dividers from the stable have been retained and they have been used as feature corner pieces. The living area is very comfortable and relaxing and the under floor heating ensures a draft free experience. board, 7 lamp standard lamp and tartan scatter rugs. The TV cabinet houses the HD widescreen tv, dvd player, and radio, freesat HD box, and iPod dock and auxilliary audio connections for the house stereo system. Room speakers are mounted in the cathedral ceiling and give lovely background listening. The whole house audio system allows you to listen to either the radio, tv, cod, iPod or what ever you plug in to it, in any room and regardless of what's being listened to elsewhere. Internet is supplied to the cottage by way of a wireless access point. So bring your laptop or mobile device and stay connected. The kitchen is well appointed and all appliances are integrated into the design. The worktop is substantial and is made of American white oak and has stainless steel hotrods let into it beside the hob. Splash backs are beautiful in glass and the floating shelves are again in oak. Appliances include electric oven and hob with extractor hood, microwave, fridge with freeze box, dishwasher, 1.5 bowl stainless steel sink with drainer, kettle, toaster and blender. The bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, wardrobe and dressing table. Linen, towels, bath robes and slippers are supplied. The floor is carpeted for your comfort. The window set low in the wall has a fantastic view of the river, as do all windows to the front. The bathroom has all the usual white bits, the towels are fluffy and the soaps are hand made. The elegant wash basin is set on the window sill. The large P shaped bath has 8 adjustable Jacuzzi jets and above is the 'rain' showerhead. There is a heated towel rail, a shaver point, the stereo controls, wooden blinds and freestanding oak towel cabinet. The floor is tiled and has under floor heating. The under floor heating system is easily controlled and is monitored in each room ensuring even temperatures and comfort. The boiler-room is added on to the side of the cottage and doubles as a drying room (in the unlikely event you should get your jacket wet). Electricity, bed linen, towels, bathrobes and slippers supplied. A welcome pack on arrival (fresh homemade bread, bottle of wine, locally made shortbread, others will be season dependant)
