Arosfa cottage in Snowdonia provides quality self catering holiday accommodation for 2 people.
Located in the pretty village of Beddgelert at the foot of Snowdon in North Wales, Arosfa (which means Rest Here) is one of a row of copper miner's cottages built in the 1830s opposite the clear waters of the River Glaslyn.
Completely refurbished to an extremely high standard, Arosfa is an ideal base for for a holiday in and around Beddgelert, and for exploring the Snowdonia National Park and the sights of North Wales.
Downstairs
Inside is a lounge/dining room with comfy seating, dining table and chairs, feature fireplace with log-burning stove, and outlook to the surrounding mountains. A colour tv, dvd player, and CD player with radio are provided.
The fully equipped fitted kitchen includes a 2 ring ceramic halogen hob, a high quality combi oven/microwave, extractor fan, fridge, kettle, and toaster. There is plenty of storage space, and a full compliment of all the usual culinary equipment and kitchen essentials.
All cleaning equipment and tea towels are provided. A separate utility & drying room contains a washing machine, tumble dryer, and freezer.
Upstairs
Upstairs is a spacious bedroom with a 4ft double bed. There is plenty of storage space with a roomy walk-in wardrobe / dressing area. Views from the bedroom window look out over the River Glaslyn and the mountains. All bed linen is provided. Upstairs there is also a bathroom with a bath and washbasin (towels are not provided), and a separate WC.
Outside
From the utility/drying room, a door leads into the back garden, planted with shrubs, and bordered by birch woodland on the mountain slopes behind. There is a patio / seating area with table and chairs, and fine views over the cottage to the surrounding mountains. To the front, street parking is available outside the cottage.
