Welcome to our Holiday Cottage on the isle of Skye.

Our cottage sits on an elevated position with spectacular views of Loch Bay and over the Minch to the Outer Isles, about a mile from the picturesque old fishing village of Stein on the Isle of Skye, now a conservation area.

Our accommodation is all on one level (although there are a few sttep steps leading to the cottage) and comprises of two bedrooms (one double/twin and one double), bathroom with electric shower over the bath, open plan kitchen and lounge/diner with an open peat fire. A small seating area at the front of the cottage provides an opportunity to enjoy the wonderful views, stunning sunsets and the incredible clarity of our Dark Skies.

We provide bedding, towels, power, a starter pack for the fire and Wifi.  We do not have mobile reception but we provide a payphone.  We are very keen to protect our local environment and offer the accommodation in as sustainable a way as we can.

The Auld Mission Cottage is in an ideal position to explore the spectacular beauty of the Isle of Skye, and in paricular the local area of Waternish by foot, car or bike (2 bikes can be hired at Stein Inn).

For those who want a more relaxing time or for the occasional rainy day! there are plenty of books, guide books and tourist information, games and DVDs.
