The hotel has retained many of it's original features such as the bank vault and a fine example of an unsupported staircase one of very few in the UK.The hotel makes the ideal base whether you are on business or on a leisure trip. jcb world headquarters as well as many other business are located within a close proximity. Uttoxeter Racecourse is 5 minutes walk away and Alton Towers is a mere 15 - 20 minutes drive away ( a local bus also runs to the theme park during opening hours).
