Accomodation
The accommodation in the Beanacre Barn has been specially designed to provide modern
comforts and convenience in a stylish traditional setting.
The conversion of the Barn has incorporated many traditional design features such as the
stable-door, exposed beams, oak framed wall, local craftsman-made doors & latches and the
flagstones and old pine wood floors. The décor features original artwork and local artefacts.
The Barn is bright and particularly spacious, centrally heated throughout and is fitted with
modern double glazing. It has easy walking access.
In the Beanacre Barn we have attempted to create the holiday environment we would wish to
enjoy ourselves. We have based the design on a high standard of equipment, top
quality furnishings and attractive, comfortable surroundings inside and out.  

The Garden
The garden of the Beanacre Barn is a particularly outstanding feature. We are keen gardeners and have developed it
in a contemporary cottage garden style. There are climbing roses on the high walls and the planting in the wide borders includes irises, poppies, paeonies and day-lilies.
With grass meadows on all sides the garden is rich in wildlife. The resident pair of pheasants visit regularly and a wide selection of birds, ranging from goldfinches to buzzards, are to be seen in garden and the surrounding area.
The garden, which is exclusively for your enjoyment during your stay in the Beanacre Barn, is a beautiful and peaceful place in which to unwind. We provide garden furniture for al fresco eating and relaxing.

Historic Cities, Market Towns & Villages
The ancient and very beautiful cathedral city of Wells is 5 miles away. Explore its unspoilt streets, the farmers' market and visit the magnificent Cathedral and the moated Bishop’s Palace.

 The wonderful Roman spa city of Bath and the historic maritime city of Bristol, home to Brunel’s Clifton Bridge and the ss great Britain, are each only 13 miles away. Glastonbury, reputed to be the birthplace of Christianity in England, with its Abbey and legendary links to King Arthur is 9 miles.
