Blacksmiths Self Catering Cottage in York, Naburn York holiday cottage

Enjoy staying in our holiday cottage set in the grounds of the Blacksmiths Arms Pub and enjoy traditional Yorkshire hospitality.  Located just 4 miles form the beautiful city of York you can enjoy the delights of the city with the peace and quiet of a river side village location. 

You will be welcomed at the Pub and shown to our cottage which boasts a wood burning stove and a double bedroom set on a mezzanine level above the lounge so you can watch the flickering flames of a cosy fire before drifting off to sleep, you can even watch the TV from the comfort of your bed.  You have a cosy lounge area which leads onto well appointed kitchen and shower room with toilet and basin.

The lounge does have a sofa bed, which means we can sleep additional guests/children, please be advised that we sell our cottage as a cosy cottage for 2 as we feel it is suited to a maximum of 2 guests in regards to living space, wardrobe space etc.  The Lounge and mezanine floor are open plan so guests will be sharing sleeping/living space if you choose to book the cottage for more than 2 guests.  

In the fridge you will find a welcome basket including fresh Bread, Butter, Eggs, Marmalade, Oranges Juice & a Bottle of Sparkling Wine. The Pub serves home made food all day and we would be happy to have meals delivered to the cottage during your stay, just let us know.

During the colder months let us know your approx arrival time and we will have the fire lit ready for you. Logs and coal for the fire are incuded in the price.

You will also find a treat from Naburns own chocolatier.  A delicious hot chocolate stick which you melt in a mug of steaming milk.  If thats not enough there is also a jar of marshmallows to melt in your hot chocolate.
