Welcome to our Bed and Breakfast close to Golspie beach in North Highlands
Blar Mhor Bed and Breakfast is set back off the main A9, in a large garden. our B&B is an ideal base to explore the beautiful scenery of the North Highlands. Blar Mhor is comfortable and friendly, with the local shops, hotels, walks, railway station, bus stop and beach only a few minutes walk away.
All bedrooms are en-suite or if required you can have a private bathroom. Rooms also have T.V., tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers, alarm clock etc.
Breakfast is normally served to fit with guests requirements, and served in the dining area between 7.30a.m. – 9.00a.m. We offer a healthy choice menu of continental breakfast or traditional Scottish Breakfast.
Our North Highlands location
Blar Mhor B&B is situated at the south end of Golspie, about a one hour drive from Inverness, and one hour 30 minutes from John O’Groats and the Orkney ferry, or across to Ullapool or Durness.
There’s lots to do around Golspie. You can visit the famous Dunrobin Castle, swimming pool, golf course, bowling club, mountain bike trail, local nature walks, visit local whiskey distilleries, climb to the Monument on the top of Ben Bhraggie Hill, or perhaps just relax in Blar Mhor’s guests’ lounge.
You don’t have to spend time looking for accommodation every day if you choose to make Golspie your central base to explore the beautiful scenery of the North Highlands.
