Our accommodation is a traditional Lakeland cottage, in a picturesque riverside hamlet converted from a former bobbin mill and having full use of the extensive landscaped gardens. Tucked away down a quiet country lane, Bobbin Mill Cottage will appeal to walkers and those seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Free WiFi connection for the internet.  Well furnished and equipped, the accommodation comprises: Lounge with wide-screen TV (Freeview channels), dvd/video and music centre. Dining area. Fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and auto washer/dryer. Double bedroom overlooking the river. Twin bedroom. Bathroom with shower over bath. Payphone. Central heating. Well-behaved pets are welcome, at extra charge, but must not be left alone in the cottage. Includes membership for leisure club with pool, gym, steam room & sauna etc
 

 

Situated near the large town of Windermere, our Self Catering Holiday Cottage is perfectly positioned for a tour of the Lake District. Though in a rural area, transport links are very good, allowing for extensive exploration of the beautiful countryside and exciting villages dotted around this marvellous area.

 

 

There are a huge number of attractions in a very short distance of our Self Catering Holiday cottage. Due to its beauty and appeal, the Lake District has been developed very successfully to be an eco-friendly tourist haven, with many outdoor activities and visitor centres to visit during your stay. the visitor centres are designed to be educational to tourists, to help keep the area clean and green, so to speak. There are outdoor activities such as walking, climbing, cycling, water sports, mountain biking, archery and many more, all within a short walk or drive or us.
