The colours complement the natural rock and stone featured around the grounds. A wood burning stove in the open plan lounge hearth adds a cosy glow and warmth while full length glass windows and doors enable bright and airy summer days with access to the patio furniture, barbecue and gardens.
The detached building is spacious measuring 26ft from the loch view windows to the well equipped kitchen with a fridge freezer, washer dryer, dishwasher and dining table at the rear. Guests have use of books, games, DVD's, WiFi with Satellite TV in every room including Sky and Sky Sports in the lounge. The double bedroom has a King size bed with a low foot end, patio door and an en-suite bathroom. The Twin room has a door to the patio and a generous walk in wet room shower en-suite, with Jack and Jill doors to the main room.
A waterfall has been captured, cascading from a natural rock seam featured at the back of the property near the car park. A second car park and boat space is offered at the side of the owner’s double garage. Guests can fish for trout and salmon March 15 to October 6 from the owners loch garden and jetty with a summer house and picnic tables. Small boats can be launched from the slipway and moored along the loch front.
Owners Fraser and Kim Proven live within the three acre landscaped gardens in a B listed thatched cottage. They will welcome you, show you your cottage and invite you to view the original cruck timber framed ceiling in their historic cottage during your stay. Ask to use the indoor hot tub! The Proven's have earned 5 star reviews on Trip Advisor with their 2 bedroom holiday cottage Little Briar and they will assist you in any way that they can. Briar Steading is pet free and Little Briar is pet friendly. Both cottages are available to view on the Briar Cottages website.
