Welcome to Broadgate Farm Cottage, just two miles from the market village of Beverley in East Yorkshire, home to our 2, 3,4 & 6 bedroom high quality barn conversions. Our Luxury holiday homes can each sleep from four to eight people some also have room for a cot or z bed space and is the perfect place for any visitors, from family holidays to romantic getaways. Dating from 1897 The Stables has two bedrooms & two bathrooms, The Forge has two bedrooms with a bathroom and downstairs cloakroom. The Granary is three bedroom with two bathrooms, the Barn House has four bedrooms with three bathrooms and Foldyard which links to Barn House has 2 bedrooms and a wetroom. All our cottages are decorated and equipped to a high standard standard.

We offer weekly lets and short breaks with flexible start dates and full online booking or simply give us a call. Our luxury Farm cottages are set in the Yorkshire countryside, but is still only a few miles from Beverley, where there are a variety of things to see and do. Broadgate Farm is located within easy reach of all the attractions in the area.

We welcome one small well behaved pet at our cottages (except the Stables) and two of our cottages have ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms, full details are available on our website.

Our Luxury Farm Holiday Cottage’s Accommodation and Features

The Stables rated 4 star gold award sleeps four people in one double bedroom with bathroom and one twin bedroom with an easy access wet-room adjacent to it. There is ample space for a travel cot or put up bed for a young child. The master bedroom, situated upstairs, has a king sized bed, ample storage space, various items of furniture and a private bathroom with toilet, sink, bath and separate shower. The twin room, on the ground floor, can be converted to a double room at your request, with an extra-king size bed (6’x6’3”) and has a shower wet room adjacent to it. Also on the ground floor is the semi open plan living area/kitchen/dining area, with a well-fitted and well-equipped kitchen with all modern appliances, dining area with natural travertine flooring and a large dining table. The sitting room runs off the dining area and has a double height ceiling, beautiful genuine oak flooring and a wood-burning stove. There are excellent views out across the rolling Yorkshire fields from the living room. Outside our luxury farm holiday cottage there is a fantastic patio area with garden furniture where you can relax on warm days while the children play.

The Forge Holiday Cottage also 4 star with a gold award was originally the Blacksmiths shop and now extended this two bedroom holiday cottage overlooks our wildlife pond & Blackmeredale Bottom. This cottage has two bedrooms and can sleep up to 4 adults with a cot space and room for a put up bed for young children. Downstairs the sitting room has an oak floor, beams and a wood burning stove. The Dining Kitchen features a natural travertine floor, fully fitted kitchen and has french windows out onto the patio. Upstairs there is one double bedroom with king size bed & one twin room, this room will be configured as twin beds but it can on request be converted to an additional double room with an Extra King bed ie 6' wide x 6'3" long.  The upstairs bathroom has a bath with shower over and there is also a downstairs cloakroom. Outside your own private patio & garden with garden furniture. 


The Granary Holiday Cottage 5 star gold award was our grain store and is now a spacious three bedroom cottage that can sleep up to 6 adults. Downstairs there is a spacious living are with beamed ceiling, wood burning stove and oak floors accommodating the dining area and comfortable seating. The Kitchen features a natural travertine floor and fully fitted kitchen, by the stairs is a downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs there is one double bedroom with king size bed and ensuite shower room & two twin rooms, all our twin rooms can on request be converted to an additional double room with an Extra King bed ie 6' wide x 6'3" long.  The upstairs bathroom has a bath with separate shower. Outside your own private patio & garden with garden furniture. 

The Barn House is our largest cottage sleeping 8 in four bedrooms and is rated 4 star with gold award. There is a large dining kitchen and a separate lounge with oak floors, beamed ceiling and comfortable seating. The ground floor also has two bedrooms and a wet room, one superking and a small twin. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with ensuite and king sized bed and another twin room which can be converted to an additional double room with an Extra King bed ie 6' wide x 6'3" long . There is also a family bathroom with bath and shower. Outside our luxury farm holiday cottage there is a large patio area with garden furniture where you can relax whilst the children play.

Foldyard cottage is another 2 bedroom cottage, it can be let on its own or linked to the Barn House to form a 6 bedroom cottage. Foldyard has a kitchen diner with natural travertine floors and fully fitted kitchen. The sitting room looks over the large garden and has oak boards, beams and a feature wood burning stove. The bedrooms are very flexible and can be either two doubles, 2 twins or a combination, normally the cottage is set up with one superking and one twim room. The wetroom is fully tiled with travertine.

There is parking for 2 cars adjacent to each of the cottages.

Our Luxury Holiday Cottage’s Location in Yorkshire

There are many interesting things to do in the area around our luxury Holiday Farm Cottage, including golf, horse riding, fishing, scuba diving, speed boating, jet skiing, water skiing, cycling, rowing, rock climbing, motocross, clay pigeon shooting, swimming, ice skating, hang gliding, skydiving, parachuting and ten pin bowling among other things. For children there are several soft play areas, a kids club available for full and half day sessions, and a petting zoo. There are some excellent historical sites in the area, including Beverley Minster, Sewerby Hall and Castle Howard, among many others. We have many delightful walks in East Yorkshire including both a 20km and an 8km walk that start and finish at our gate.  For those who prefer more gentle exercise there are a number of guided walks around Beverley, including Ghost walks, the Town Trail and a Pub Walk. There is plenty to do in the area with the famous The Deep, one of the best aquariums in the world only 8 miles away.
