If you are looking for something more stimulating than a fortnight 'baking in the sun on a noisy crowded beach' - how about a city holiday break in "Real Spain" for a change?
City breaks usually mean hotels.
If you prefer the independence of self catering (not to mention the economy!), but still yearn for the convenience of being in a city, you will love this. As well as being in the city, you will be in Antequera, which, because of it's position in Andalucia, is central to every one of the major historical centres of that province, the main cities of:
Granada - Malaga - Cordoba - Seville - Cadiz - Jerez, as well as 'must see places' like Ronda, Frigiliana, Huelva and others.
With it's great vistas of the ancient Alcazaba from the large roof terrace (see picture above), two roomy double bedrooms, both with French windows and Juliet balconies, large family full bathroom with shower and bidet, second bathroom & shower, large modern and fully equipped kitchen, nice comfy salon-diner with two triple glazed windows, Casa Cuatro is "modern life in an ancient city".
It is situated in the popular 'barrio de San Juan' residential area in the "Zona de Monumental" of the historical Spanish city of Antequera in Andalucia, which is a city of Spanish cultural heritage, with it's fabulous baroque and manifold churches and renaissance architecture.
Conversely, if it's golfing you want, within 5 to 10 mins drive is one of the best golf courses in Spain.
It is available for short (minimum 1 week), Summer breaks, and longer winter breaks (up to 3 months) at competitive rentals, it is ideal for a great city break in Spain.
Most self-catering accommodation in the region of Antequera, is just that! - "in the region of . . .".
Casa Cuatro is actually right in the city itself, so the main street with all it's life and amenity is a short 5 to 10 min walk away, and, being in the 'Zona Antiguo', it is right in the midst of many of Spain's most ancient buildings and monuments, such as the Alcazaba, (viewed from the property!), which originates back to Moorish 'El Andalus', and it's also very close to all amenities including, fine restaurants, tapas bars, cafes, shops and stores.
Great public transport (buses, trains, bike hire, hopper bus), so no need for car hire, but if you want to explore some of the sights and scenery in the region, we have a deal with a leading local airport car hire operator which means our special guests receive a 15% discount.
