Welcome to Casa Sophia a charming, self-catering village house. Situated in a quiet, pedestrianised lane just minutes from the main Plaza. The House is comfortably furnished for 2 - 4 guests with two bedrooms and two separated TV's with Freeview boxes. Located in a in the delightful 'Real Spain' village of Torrox Pueblo which is predominently a Spanish Village but with enough English residents around to enable you not to feel too isolated.
Situated in a quiet pedestrianised lane only two minutes walk from the main plaza. Locally there is a good range of shops, bars, restaurants, pharmacists, medical centre, dentist, and police station. Within 5 mins walk of parking; the bus stop is just around the corner you do not need a car. Only 4 km from Torrox Costa with it's sandy beach with numerous restaurants, bars and shops.
Malaga airport is just 45km away. Casa Sophia is ideal for touring the ancient cities of Granada, Almeria, Saville, Cordoba, Antequera, Malaga with lots of gorgeous white villages of the Axarquia inbetween. There are numerous local sports and activities within the National Park and the Costa such as horse riding, scuba diving, golf, off-roading, flying, cycling, hiking, rock-climbing, swimming, with art galleries and cultural centres to visit. There is a downstairs double bedroom which is comfortably furnished.
The kitchen is traditional with a double sink Microwave, gas cooker, fridge freezer, electric kettle and basic pots pans and crockery for up to 4 guests.
The shower room (with excellent pressure is in little small covered courtyard with a separate toilet, lavateria with washing machine.
The dining room has a fold out table and four chairs and leads to:
1st floor twin bedded room with quaint sloping roof and comfortable bed
2nd Reception with a two chairs and small TV with separate Free View box.
The Terrace is 3m x 6m so very spacious and sunny and the ideal place to sit and relax.
Torrox has a labyrinth of delightful, winding lanes and that meander up the hill it has enough houses to qualify as a small town really. All are unique and mostly antique with flowers and canaries to add colour. Torrox was on the original, oriental silk route so is a very quaint and ancient village; mentioned in 12th century documents, there are many Roman remains to be found in the area. This is Real Spain but next to the sea with modern conveniences. Torrox Costa has a wide sandy beach and excellent promenade with numerous restaurants and bars, stalls and shops to explore. Further along there is the wilder part with beachside traditional restaurants with the typical delicacy of sardines braised on an open fire.
This is the ideal place to imagine that you are living in Spain.
