Welcome to our Bed and Breakfast
We warmly invite you to come and stay in our friendly and informal Bed and Breakfast. Located in the centre of the pretty market village of Chaillac, near Argenton-sur-creuse, France. We can offer a choice of three guest bedroom options which are the Oriental room, the red room and two very comfortable guest rooms.
The house is to be found down a little lane near to the beautiful 15th century Chateau. An easy drive from the A20, exit junction 20 or 21 and follow signs to Saint Benoit du Sault then signs to Chaillac. A restful stopover when travelling between the North and South of France and the perfect base for exploring Indre and the Limousin. At Chaillac Bed and Breakfast we welcome cyclists and bikers, secure covered parking is available for your bicycles, motorbikes, trailers etc.
Chaillac has plenty to offer visitors, the beautiful Lac de Rochegaudon, just 5 minutes walk from the house, comprises two large lakes both excellent for fishing, permits are available in the village and cost 5€ for a day.
The large beach has a supervised swimming area with a waterslide. Well maintained grounds, children’s play area and café. In summer the spectacular firework display at the lake is not to be missed. We are also on the edge of the Brenne Parc Naturel a haven for the naturalist.
