Chalet Le Dragon has been constructed to a very high standard and considerable thought has been given to the design and fitting out of the ski chalet. Particular time and emphasis has been put on making it cosy yet spacious enough so that you may enjoy spending your leisure time in the company of others or quietly alone.
Bedrooms
The bedrooms entice you with delightful furnishings and have been stylishly designed, with several offering awe inspiring views of the surrounding mountains. Two rooms have the added luxury of en-suite bathrooms, including spa jet showers. One room has its own private bathroom and the other two rooms offer a shared bathroom, perfect for a family’s needs.
Chalet Le Dragon offers the flexibility to accommodate individuals, couples, families and groups and some bedrooms are also spacious enough to accommodate extra beds and travel cots if required.
Sitting & Dining
The heart of the chalet is the traditional lounge which boasts a magnificent open fire, sofas to snuggle into and doors offering access onto the pretty balcony where magnificent views of the valley and surrounding mountains are presented to you like a picture postcard! There is also an office area with communal computer for free internet access or e-mail and a choice of DVD’s from the small library. A Bose i-pod docking station is also available for guests to use. For guests who like some video gaming action, we have the latest Wii with Winter Sports 2010 and Sports Resort!
Food and Wine
Cuisine is a very important part of your holiday when staying with us in winter. (meals available during summer season for 30 euros each).
With this in mind, many traditional, hearty recipes have been specially selected to satisfy your desire for wholesome and nutritional food. This, together with a splendidly set table and attentive service, will ensure that you look forward to each meal. Remember, we are always happy to discuss specific requirements and requests for particular favourites.
Start the day with a continental breakfast of fresh fruits and yoghurts, choice of cereals (including porridge), ‘Bakers basket’ – pain au chocolat and croissants, toast with regional confitures and honey, fruit juice, fresh coffee and tea.
After a busy day, afternoon tea awaits you back at the Chalet. Choose from hot drinks – tea, coffee, hot chocolate, selection of cakes and biscuits (e.g. Lemon Curd Cake, Chocolate digestive slices, or Flapjacks) and fresh fruit.
Guests gather by the fire for nibbles and pre-dinner drinks at 7.00pm. On five evenings a week, a delicious three course evening meal is served along with our specially chosen complimentary house wines or you can upgrade to a wine of your choice from our cellar. After dinner, coffee and mints are then served at the table or in front of the log fire. With starry moonlit mountain views from the dining room, each evening will be a true delight in the company of friends old and new.
