Converted from a former Wesleyan Chapel and refurbished in 2007, Chapel Cottage is a light and airy holiday cottage which comfortably sleeps 6 people. It has two double rooms, one with en-suite and a twin room. It has a second bathroom and the kitchen is fully equipped and has a dining table to easily seat 6 people. The lounge has a welcoming open fire and leather sofa’s to relax on. A widescreen TV and dvd player also reside there.
There’s an enclosed garden at the front and a mature garden and patio at the rear which leads to the woods and fell beyond.
Electricity and heating is included in the price and the beds will be made up for you, you’ll need to remember to bring your own towels.
There is wonderful walking straight from the door and the bridge over the River Duddon is a fantastic place to go for a swim or paddle.
The Georgian town of Broughton-in-Furness is just a few miles away, as is the little town of Workington. We are sitated in the Lake Distric so there are many great and historic places in the surrounding area to visit. Feel free to explore the region.
