Chene Vert...

A beautifully restored cottage with ancient stone floor, impressive fireplace and other features. Comfortably furnished throughout. The open plan ground floor is fitted with a modern kitchen including a range style cooker, dishwasher and microwave.

A spiral staircase leads to a twin room and double bedroom each with its own washbasin. A shower room with toilet is shared by both bedrooms. The cosy feeling of these bedrooms is enhanced by the sloping beamed ceilings and dormer windows offering a view of the rolling hills of the countryside just a step away.

French windows at the front of the cottage lead out onto the wisteria covered veranda which gets the morning sun, and steps down to a  small fenced garden, looking onto a large lawned area. The back door of the cottage leads out onto a patio area - perfect spot for a meal or just lingering over a glass of wine in the late evening sun! Steps lead up from there to the pool area (fenced and gated for safety, and with pool alarms).

To the far end of the landscaped pool enclosure is a pool bar where you can chat with other guests over a drink, or borrow the books, games or sports equipment which are housed there!
