Reminiscent of a coaching inn The Chequers was originally a farm house in George III's reign and has genuine oak beams and slate and granite floors. The Chequers Country Inn has a peaceful 'olde worlde' Atmosphere which offers a relaxed comfortable environment whether on business or pleasure. The Chequers offers good food ale accommodation ample parking and function facilities right in the heart of beautiful countryside but very close to the M1 M6 M69 and A5 - ideal for meetings conferences seminars training courses.There are 13 comfortable rooms each with: En-suite facilities with bath shower or both Trouserskirt press Hairdryer Tea and coffee making facilities Remote control television and Telephone. The conference area can seat up to 80 and is self-contained with it's own: Toilet Facilities Fire exit Eating Area Parking for nearly 100 cars Equipment on request Wireless Facilities Available and Overnight accommodation for long-distance travellers.
