Welcome to Cherry Orchard Cottages
The two self contained apartments for rent are 10 kilometers from Veliko Tarnovo - the medieval capital of Bulgaria. The apartments are in a rural village with a stone walled private complex with a 8.5x4.5 metre pool. The apartments have a fully fitted kitchen wish oven and 4 burner hob, extensive range of crockery and cooking utensils, fridge, kettle and toaster, washing machine, Cable tv, dvd player and free videos, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, modern bathroom, bed linen and towels provided, and nicely furnished bedroom and living room.
Dragizhevo is a good place for fishing, hiking, cycling. The village life seems timeless where goats and pigs are a common sight - so are donkeys and carts tied up outside the local bars. The apartments are two minutes from the village centre with its shops, bars and regular bus service to three main towns, Lyaskovetz, Gorna and Veliko.
Veliko Tarnovo has many attractions - old and new, cobbled streets, terraced houses, Fortress ruins overlooking the River Yantra and many museums plus modern bars shops and restaurants.
Within 6 kilometers to 35 kilometers of the village there are historical sites, connected to independence from the Turks, craft villages, monasteries, old houses open to the public and nature reserves set in beautiful countryside.

"We enquired about Cherry Orchard Cottages, Dragizheve, Veliko Tarnovo, through your website. I would like to thank you and the owners of Cherry Orchard Cottages for a lovely holiday. We stayed in one of their self catering cottages which had a swimming pool and barbeque area outside. The accommodation is located approx 10 mins drive from Veliko Tarnovo. The accommodation was excellent, everything on site that we required. The children really enjoyed swimming in the pool. The owners also organised our pickup from Bourgas airport to their accommodation in Veliko Tarnovo which was fantastic. There was a campsite nearby where we had delicious meals. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anybody who wanted to stay in Veliko Tarnovo. The taxi service and bus service were excellent. It was great to see the countryside as well as being only a short distance drive from Veliko Tarnovo." J and c, summer 2011.
