Coillabus Cottage offers outstanding accommodation in an area of outstanding beauty and local interest. The cottage offers a genuine get away from it all experience with no near neighbours, spectacular unpolluted night skies and acres of walking space. All this within a short drive to Islay's famous Whisky distilleries, sandy beaches and championship golf course. The cottage has a fishing permit.

Children and families love Coillabus with its rainy day drawer, Jaques croquet set and the curious attention of the cattle and sheep looking over the fence. Visitors hoping to enjoy the wildlife and birds of Islay can look out for rare treats such as choughs, golden eagles and otters. For the romantics we have an open fire, fluffy white robes and a vintage record collection. And there's something for everybody in the  well-stocked bookcases - we're especially proud of our Islay and Scottish shelves.

At Coillabus we are keen to help you minimise the carbon footprint of your holiday so you'll find recycling bins and eco-friendly cleaning products. Our maple floor is made from recycled timber and we have some beautiful pieces of antique furniture. We have local art on our walls and we support a wide range of local businesses.
