Welcome to Carterside Cottages. We have a selection of six sumptuously appointed luxury self-catering holiday cottages as well as a traditional Northumbrian farmhouse situated in their own courtyard setting in 2 acres of land in the beautiful county of Northumberland.

Collingwood cottage offers three double rooms - one with ensuite, luxury family bathroom, kitchen and a separate living room/ dining room. Our accommodation is ideal for a larger family or a group of friends. The private patio area has wonderful views over the golf course and countryside. There is also a shared courtyard.

We have a special arrangement with the golf club that Carterside customers are entitled to use their club house for meals and drinks.

The self catering cottages are located a short stroll from the bustling Northumberland village of Rothbury, “The Capital of Coquetdale”.  Carterside Cottages provide the ideal base from which to explore this beautiful and varied county.

Northumberland offers a host of attractions and things to see and do – be it a round of golf on the 18 hole green virtually right at your doorstep or a walk through the Simonside Hills just above us – you can be sure your stay here will be one to remember.
