Located on Pemba Bay, Mozambique, on the shores of the third largest bay in the world, Coral Reef Lodges are a haven of peace & quiet.
Both Lodges are self catering & are fully equipped with linen, towels & all you will need for the kitchen (Inc. Gas cooker, upright electric fridge, upright electric Freezer or an upright gas fridge/freezer on request) or you can have a braai on the beach using our built in entertainment area. Each Lodge sleeps 4 persons comfortably & 6 at a push, so one can have a quiet relax or a fun break with friends! Please Note - We do strongly advise you to ensure that all your foodstuffs & essentials are purchased before arrival as there are no shops in the area, with the nearest being a half an hour boat trip away in Pemba. Foodstuffs can be purchased locally by ourselves before your arrival at a small charge to your accommodation account.
The Lodges have a lovely coral rock beach front for swimming and snorkelling in the coral reefs just off shore. Or you can just sit in the comfortable & cool lounging area upstairs, chatting, lazing the day away with a book or just watching the fishing boats on the bay or listening & observing the myriads of birds in the bush outside. For a bit of the high life & if you like to walk, there is ‘Londo Lodge’ just a 25 minute walk away, through the lovely African bush, for a meal and a drink which can be booked by our staff.
