Welcome to our Large Yorkshire Dales Holiday Cottage
Dale House stands amidst spectacular countryside in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with views up and down the Wharfe valley. This large spacious holiday house, provides self catering accommodation for up to 24 guests, and lies in the centre of the attractive village of Kettlewell. The generous accommodation makes it a perfect venue for holidays, family reunions and group activities.
Our Large Holiday Accommodation
The entrance vestibule opens into a large hallway leading to all the ground floor rooms. The sitting room has comfortable seating for 13, an open fire, colour TV and dvd with dvd library and a welcome pack of coal and logs. The fully equipped modern kitchen contains 2 fridges, 2 electric ovens, 2 hobs, a microwave, 2 Meile dishwashers, ample cutlery, crockery and glassware.
The dining room is light and airy with sufficient seating for the largest parties and a music centre. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom with an additional single bed, wash basin, shower and WC. The drying room is a heated room with plenty of coat hooks and boot racks and a freezer.The wash room contains a large washing machine.
On the first floor are five bedrooms and two family WCs. Bedroom 2 has a double bed with wash basin, spa bath and WC. Bedroom 3 is a twin bedded room with wash basin, shower and WC. Bedroom 4 is a double bedded room with bunk beds, wash basin and shower. Bedroom 5 is a double bedded room with wash basin and shower. Bedroom 6 has a double bed, wash basin, shower and WC..
On the second floor are a further 3 bedrooms and two family bathrooms one with spa bath and one with a shower. Bedrooms 7 and 8 have twin beds and bedroom 9 contains five single beds, colour tv ,playstation 2 and a children's games/DVD library.
All bedrooms have bed linen, towels and complementary toiletries. A starter pack of logs and coal and kitchen detergents are included. Catering can be provided by prior arrangement.
Eight car parking permits are provided for the car park opposite.
Our Yorkshire Dales Location
Our cottage is in Kettlewell, an excellent location for touring the Yorkshire Dales, with many villages and small towns offering historic sites and attractions, from museums about dales life through the ages to caves filled with limestone formations, or local crafts and art galleries offering works inspired by the fantastic scenery. There are also many opportunities to take part in some outdoor activities, for example walking, climbing, fishing, cycling, mountain biking and many others.
