Welcome to Driftwood Holiday House

A spacious, luxuriously appointed detached family holiday home, just 400m from the beach and next to Lodmoor Nature Reserve.  It offers fantastic untinterrupted views of Weymouth bay and the nature reserve whilst allowing occupants privacy.  The balcony offers fantastic views as does the patio area to the front of the property.  The kitchen is, like the rest of the house, luxurious and very well appointed featuring a fantastic 4 oven gas aga along with other high quality cooking facilities, making this a place to remember.  The master bedroom has a large dressing room/nursery and ensuite, with access onto the balcony.  Access to the balcony is also gained from the landing.  Downstairs, a large drawing room, dining room and tv/breakfast room make this an ideal place for family holidays.  The dining room is to the front of the property, offering fantastic views of Weymouth bay and nature reserve from 3 sides.  Bird watchers are very welcome.  Uninterrupted view of Olympic sailing waters and events held in Weymouth bay.  We also run weymouthsailing where you can enjoy sailing for pleasure or tuition.  We are also Associate Partners of the Dorset Golf and Country Club where our guests can enjoy discounted golf on a beautiful 27 hole course set in beautiful countryside.

During the colder months, the large Aga makes the house very homely and warm and so easy to use.  During the warmer months the Aga can be left on - it is up to you to choose.  driftwood is child friendly with stair gates both at the top and bottom of the stairs, a travel cot in the nursery and high chair in the breakfast room.

During the summer months, you can pick your own figs off the large tree in the garden - they taste so good!
