Now lovingly restored Dunallan offers quality 4 star accommodation whilst retaining many of the Villa’s original features including the beautiful stained and etched glass at the front of the house, ornate ceiling cornices, original period tiled fireplaces and pitch pine staircase, doors and windows.
In addition to the use of our period sitting rooms, Dunallan offers the choice of seven beautifully appointed Guest bedrooms, six of these have superb ensuites and the seventh has its own luxury bathroom complete with Victorian ‘Ball & Claw’ bath and a Luxury power shower.
There is extensive private parking including a garage for motorbikes and cycles. We have laundry and drying facilities and there is free WiFi. internet access. Homemade packed lunches are available on request.
Bike hire is also available localy and we can offer advice on routes for walking or cycling both locally in the stunning Anagach Woods beside the River Spey and longer routes around the magnificent Cairngorm National Park.
Grantown on Spey is just south of Inverness, and only three hours drive from Edinburgh. The Spey Valley is renowned for its gentle climate, magnificent scenery, forests and mountains. Wherever you go the commanding Cairngorm Mountains are always there in the background. Dunallan is the perfect base for walking, touring, golf and wildlife. Or you can just relax and enjoy the Speyside Malt Whiskies!
