xaymaca is a unique 19thC Spanish country-village house, part of which was originally an oil mill. This magnificent holiday property has been meticulously renovated to provide a stunning and comfortable self-catering holiday home with a capacity for 8 people. Like its smaller counterpart, El Sequer, great care has been taken to respect original features and architecture, combined with modern installations and equipment for maximum comfort. (Heating, air-conditioning, internet access, Sattv, cd/DVD player, water decalcifier, emergency lighting, library, board games, etc). Stone walls, impressive wooden doors, high beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and Mediterranean colours achieve an elegant but cosy ambience, creating a homely atmosphere.
Upstairs, Xaymaca has four double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Two bedrooms have large queen-sized beds and lead onto a sun terrace with magnificent mountain views, while the other two have twin beds and overlook the village. Each bedroom has been decorated in a different theme and is equipped with cupboard, bedside tables and chairs. Quality bed & bath linen is provided as well as blankets and duvets for winter lets.
Downstairs, there are two spacious living rooms each with its own log-burning stove. One of the living-rooms leads onto the two-level open air patio with a fountain surrounded by Mediterranean plants and flowers, where al fresco meals can be enjoyed The other living-room shares an open plan area with the large dining room with seating for up to 10 people.
The colourful rustic styled kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances for cooking aficionados (ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, coffeemaker, kettle, juicer, toaster, mixer, iron, etc…) .
Outdoors, from the patio, steps lead up to the pretty landscaped garden and large swimming pool. There is a covered porch for alfresco meals, a barbecue area, sun loungers, other outdoor furniture, childrens toys and games, etc.
Beyond the garden is the fruit orchard where tangerines, oranges, lemons, avocados, olives, loquats and aromatic herbs can be picked when in season.
From here, there are panoramic views of the Segaria mountain range and the valley.
